yep, agree raider. 60% of Aussies are doing it pretty tough. all disposable income is sucked into the interest rate void. how the blazes did we manage so well when interest rates were climbing toward 20%!? well we did with higher wages to mortgage ratio.
the next big part of this therefore is the actual size of mortgages. the housing market has been made too hot by half. (150%). this is what has truly made buying a home, particularly those without a house to sell + first home buyers, so nearly impossible for 30%.
