Hi pa, I think you will find that any polly worth his salt, particularly one as high up as Armitage, would avoid making any controversial statement if asked a leading question. Armitage's comments must be looked at in the context of other US pollys'willingness to make quite partisan comments. Something that is just not done by one friendly govt to an ally.
