The Labour left party in India is pathetic to say the least.
Part of the coalition government is threatening to withdraw
support if the nuclear deal with USA goes ahead. Many analysts
in India believe an early election is inevitable. They have
put beds the support will be withdrawn.
Labour, as in Australia, is just ridiculous. They cant get
their act together no matter which country.
Anyway, political views aside - the nuclear deal with USA
has been happening for years i.e. struggle to get there.
USA has been given deadlines after deadlines and the indian
politics keeps getting worse. Insiders say, CHina supports
the anti-nuclear parties within the ruling govt so that
INDIA does not get the deal. (all this to ensure China retains
power in that region).
It will be fantastic if the deal were to go ahead - this
will mean fantastic news for not just PDN but the U sector.
TIme will tell...
