Morrisson is no idiot. He knows that huffing and puffing about China keeps half his Party happy. Backing down with suitable noises keeps them all happy. Back in the day every once in a while, he would whack dole bludgers or refugees. Dole bludgers now includes half the country so that target is over. Refugees has no mileage given the boats and covid debacle. China's the flavour of the minute. We will be spanked into the naughty corner by China and normal transmission will recommence.
