Australia so confident in Oxford vaccine, it orders 10m more Pfizer

We've got as much Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine as we can eat, can even produce it locally with CSL.

But now with country after country refusing it for older age groups, and Switzerland yesterday for any age group, the light bulb finally went on in Morrisons head. At least the initial Australian contract negotiated months ago was for 10m with an option for 10m more, just took a phone call to exercise the option.

With 2 doses per person, that's 10m covered At least people over 60 will get Pfizer.

Everyone else, sorry you can't have what the politicians are having.
