On 25 August 1940, British bombers were sent out to raid industrial and commercial targets in Berlin. Torent after torrent of indiscriminate bombs fell across the city, causing enormous casualties amongst the civilian population as well as damage to residential areas.
Remember the pictures of 100's of bombs just falling out of the aeroplanes landing wherever.
Now we have drones - pinpoint accuracy. We talk now of 3 or 4 or 5 unconfirmed casualties.
While prefering neither, if our choice is between an accurate drone or indiscriminate bomber ...........
