I thought reading that at the beginning ...this boy is finally starting to make sense !
But then , disappointment !
Maybe I won't respond to the bit about Oz getting nukes because I doubt anyone else (one or two poss. exceptions) is going to be stupid enough to think that .
But yes , ships and tanks are now excellent targets for missiles and drones and as I understand it much more vulnerable .
Missiles , drones and air defense systems do appear to give more bang for the buck these days .
Subs are useful but like you I'll just ask the question ...are they the BEST use of the cash or would it be better spent elsewhere .
