Nice to see the thinly-veiled xenophobia on display.
People used to say the same of the Japanese when they briefly overtook the U.S economy - how they were going to take over everything, destroy the local culture, hints of them being little more than obedient serfs who would spread their serf philosophy everywhere. And this was when they were a liberal democracy and an ally of the West.
Of course when they were subordinated back to 2nd position (their rightful place), everyone could breathe a sigh of relief.
Guess the colonial mentality is alive and well.
