Looks like Australia is going to vote at the UN in favour of a Palestinian state. There has Never been a Palestinian state before.
The Palestinians overwhelmingly voted in Hamas as their government. A Palestinian state would be a Hamas fort. Hamas don't wan't a two state solution. Hamas unambiguously wants to wipe out Israel "from the river to the sea". They will fight ruthlessly for this until hell freezes over, its in their religion.
