The Palestinians overwhelmingly voted in Hamas as their government. A Palestinian state would be a Hamas fort. Hamas don't wan't a two state solution. Hamas unambiguously wants to wipe out Israel "from the river to the sea". They will fight ruthlessly for this until hell freezes over, its in their religion.

Why is Australia backing the Hamas terrorists over our Israeli ally?
