It would be good to know if we have spare capacity to supply overseas markets.
If both sunny queen and pace farm send eggs then tighter egg supply locally you would think.
I like the smh article that actually explains that cage egg sales are still rising just not as fast as free range.
There is now and always will be a need for caged eggs. A lot of low to medium income families weigh the scales- chickens in a cage or save 3-4 dollars a carton.
