I woke up to the best news I have heard for a while
The military has always been the front runner to civilian use of technology, the military will train others in the civilian use of nuclear, it will be a steep learning curve for us.
Something else to consider with today's announcement is that Australia will be responsible for our own nuclear waste, we will have to deal with that ourselves, that also opens the path for nuclear generation, but why stop there? we are a large source of Uranium so why not value add in our own source of nuclear enrichment, we could supply all of south East Asias needs for enrichment for civilian use, it will be something of real value as far as new jobs go in a technology that will create well paying jobs for our country, bring it on I say!
