in New Zealand at least shellfish can be traced to farm (for export markets) and there is no reason why it couldn't apply for many other food sources...it seems compliance to meet export is much tougher than for import (in both Australia and New Zealand) and it is high time Aussie consumers got a better deal and knew where their food was coming from!
