    Pretty sure the "no settlement of refugees arriving illegally by boat" was originally Howard 's policy - which Rudd initially overturned - and then ALP brought it back when it was obvious that they had no flippin' idea on how to stop the smugglers and people drowning at sea?

    Interesting to see had bipartisan support at the time - Green's domination of Labor policy obviously not so strong in 2001. SHY yet to hit her straps in 2007?
