Just to remind you guys & gals.
Ben specifically stated at the Sydney presentation there would be no joint venture - we were told SSC asked & were told 'not interested'.
Now takeover talk is also very, very premature.
Why have Frank & MHM not patented this process & technology? He & MHM want to retain the confidentiality of the process & this unique invention. And this is to ensure that Frank & his backers/investors get due reward for solving a very real & major environmental issue for the Aluminium industry.
I recall reading on HC some time ago that Frank had been burned before on an invention that he patented that is now a world wide standard in the coal industry & that this is partly the basis for this non-patent strategy. It was posted originally by Twin Turbo or Twin Creeks I think who are such astute & influential posters on this thread.
So I think we can all rest easy that with Frank holding such a large load of stock, & with Frank & MHM keeping the process close to their chest, that any takeover would have to get Frank & co firmly on board & I think we can be assured that that would involve a very pretty penny.
No, I think we ride what I expect to be the MHM earnings & expansion gravy train for quite some time yet.
And finally the appointment of John Pugh is in my opinion a very, very significant announcement.
Like some other posters here I keep up to date by scanning this thread now & again & appreciate the comments but very rarely post. I have a significant top 20 holding & look forward to meeting you all at the $x party
