Each to their own and each with their own motivation. FYI Madam appears to post in high volume on a small number of stocks that obviously interest him, most of which he seems to hold and some he has a buy sentiment on. Good meaty (if somewhat long) posts. I imagine that someone like Madam sees huge potential in MSB but also sees the potential to lose pretty much all your investment. A smart conservative investor will keep an eye on a good prospect for years, only moving when the odds of success seem worth the risk. Madam will miss the $1 to $5 gains then ride them from $5 to $100. He will also probably avoid the collapse from $2 to 2c if a couple of people in the stem cell studies develop cancer that MIGHT be related to their treatment. I suspect he will do better from his investment strategy than most who criticise him on this board. I find the well informed/thought out counter argument far more valuable than most of everything else on HC. Helps provide a reality check.
