It seems to me that if the management of CNP/CER had taken a different view in the early days of this disaster - around January this year - much like the one taken by GPT and raised capital immediately - at a significant discount to the share price at the time, they could have sailed through, rolled over the remaining debt and been in a much healthier position than they are now.

They could still have attempted asset sales but would not be so reliant on them.
