In the words of that great sage "This is the recession that (again) have to have".
The same as all those smart shareholders in the banks would never have imagined that their beloved investments would lose 50% of their maximum market capitalised value, so all those property pundits will never believe that their beloved residences will be worth 50% less than they were worth at the peak.
