Australian Biodiesel Group Ltd (ASX:ABJ) has been chosen by "a
subsidiary of a major offshore energy company" as preferred supplier for
the design, engineering and commissioning services for a biodiesel
production facility.
"The offshore market has considerably more favourable regulatory
conditions to biodiesel production than those of the Australian
marketplace," Aust Biodiesel CEO Mr Bevan Dooley declared.
The project is subject to local planning and government
approvals, final financial close and contract negotiation.
"The technology offer is closely modelled on ABG's successful
Narangba facility using the company's proprietary fully continuous flow
technology.
"The low capital cost of the facility, coupled with proven
robust technology capable of processing a wide range of feedstock
efficiently, were among the chief factors in making ABG the preferred
supplier of technology," Mr Dooley said.
