Australia is a third world country when it comes to internet.
Look at countries like Taiwan where fibre-optic broadband has been available for years. And the govt gives it to students for free as a learning aid. But we can't do that in Australia, our govt isn't interested in making us a leader in technology and learning. They would rather we all work on the cheap and try to compete directly with China and India as cheap labour.
Sad state of affairs....
