While my thoughts are with all persons involved in the tragic events in Sydney, I also believe that this evil act should also start a wider debate on Australian citizenship.
I have heard reports that the Iranian murderous piece of vomit involved in the evil act in Sydney was an "Australian citizen". I don't know if he was actually created here in Australia, or whether he came by other means.
If he came by other means, just how easy was it for this low life excrement to gain something most valuable, like Australian citizenship? What type of allegiance did he pledge to Australia, and what background checks were conducted? Is it, and has it become, far too easy to gain citizenship? I would like our leaders to address this matter at the more appropriate time in the future.
I am now sure that there are some, who gain citizenship, simply so they can budge on our welfare, and commit criminal acts without fear of deportation.
Sure, there are some, probably most, who gain Australian citizenship for all the right reasons. I welcome them with open arms.
But, there must, especially now, be increased scrutiny. Firstly, if you have committed crimes here, you are ineligible. you stay on a Visa until we can get rid of you. Secondly, if there is no evidence that you will contribute to Australia in a positive manner, you are ineligible. I'm sure other can think of more circumstances.
And, on a related matter, I am getting quite sick of politicians, police commissioners etc, coming out and saying things like "all moslems aren't bad" and "this was a random act" etc etc. The facts are that we simply don't know these things anymore. There is no doubt there is evil amongst us now, and plenty more like that Iranian piece of dog crap in Sydney. So, spare us the rhetoric please. We are not stupid. We know everyone is not "bad".
Problem is, we just don't know who is "bad" anymore.
