You may want to get some tax advice but I am of the opinion that if the company is still listed & trading you can’t just write off in your ITR. There has to be some definining event like an arms length disposal or a liquidation etc. I went through the painful set up process simply to be able to claim my massive capital loss by selling the shares . I will not have a cgt problem for a very long while. Good luck.
