I saw that one Agent and examined it in detail. As is usually the case, headlines give a false impression. "Coal banned" (implying all coal); "dollar tumbles" (implying it's worthless). It is a storm in a teacup. Firstly, one has to ask why China buys Qld coal in the first place...answer, it's simply the best and so is its supplier. Secondly, looks like a bureaucratic bottleneck or something to feed into a contract to slow down imports for a while. Maybe linked to the cost/ supply of iron ore???
It would suddenly make Amaam worth billions if it were true (that's not to say it isn't worth billions already!) I expect this to slowly die away into conveniently-forgotten-land. Hope I'm wrong.
