I'm pretty sure those things would have happened no matter what.
"Greener" doesn't mean anything except more green pixels on the satellite image. It's really just grass and shrub replacing cleared forest which means biodiversity loss (dead koalas) and liberated carbon dioxide. But yes, you get more green pixels on a satellite image which makes for a nice specious talking point for Alan Jones (one of the few remaining hard denialists) along with the equally ridiculous "CO2 is plant food".
