have any of the vaccines being worked on now been tested on animals? and i dont mean for a mere couple of months but a serious regime that is designed to take several years?

the mumps vaccine took 4 years and we are to believe that a safe effective vaccine can be produced for sars covid in a matter of months taking into account the recent reports that the virus has split into different strains?
further gates is on record as suggesting that (the elderly in particular) the population will need multiple vaccines. and he is talking about 7 billion min. at 4 grand a pop that is a lot of money and might help reduce the population as well in line with his comments in 2010
