    There has been from 20 to 40 mills over most of the cropping areas of northern NSW. Higher falls in the east where the crop was doing fine anyway.

    There will be plenty of potential 5 tonne per hectare crops in the eastern parts now, and more rain coming later in the week.

    On the Liverpool plains, which never was dry anyway, it could leed to some waterloging. We are up to 18 inches for the year, 1.5 inches above average for the end of August, and it's raining now. I hope it goes away for a few weeks or so.
