The only conclusions the ADII will make are:

    1. MG management put pedal to the metal just as a brick wall was approaching; and
    2. Fonterra took advantage of the disaster.

Murray Goulburn has worn all the shame from the Australian dairy industry crash. Their mistake was to overproduce WMP to cater for a demand that got swamped by EU dumping. Management's mistake, who have subsequently paid the price.

However Fonterra Australia didn't make the same mistake YET saw the opportunity to lower the FMP paid to Australian farmers. This seems OUTRAGEOUS.

In their 2016 financial accounts they proudly boasted how they reduced debt by 1.5 billion. I wonder if they sent a "thank you" card to all the Oz farmers?

The Senate must take action against Fonterra.

Australian dairy farmers should be revolting against Fonterra because their actions have been.
