We have to have a safety net but there are far too many excesses.
People generally do not live within their means and are always wanting more.
The Greens mainly affect the economy as they seem hell bent on knocking industry and other revenue raising enterprises like mining.
If they had their way we would all live unwashed in mud huts, growing our own vegies, sleeping with our chooks and relying on solar power. We could have lights and heating but never at the same time. Blokes could marry blokes and chicks could marry chicks. The criminal element of refugees would have nothing to steal so they wouldn't be a problem.
But wait.......I wonder if they realise that under this primitive existence life would be very tough and there would be NO INTERNET. The stress of it all would lead many Greens to commit suicide - a blessing in disguise.
