To any political party in any country debt is a meaningless concept and totally ignored by pollies.
This can be verified because debt is continually rising globally with any efforts being made to slow it down or reduce it, imagine the impost on lifestyle if they seriously considered in trying to reduce it, or eliminate it. Western civilisation would come to an abrupt STOP!
Reason - you can't expand without debt!
The most important imperative of any controlling elite or politician is to keep you gainfully employed, so you don't get up to undesirable undertakings and to keep you distracted from what you really are - a 'commodity' and a slave to debt!
Whilst people whine and complain about our debt 'problem' the pollies know they have you hooked into worrying about it, they on the other hand will continue to expand it to keep you from thinking about other things such as social anarchy!
