I have written about that for a few years now -------

if you treat the bots and HST as the enemy - they will kill you every time.

However - if you treat them as friends -- you can do very nicely.

But, you have to play as an investor - and, you have to get away from the save every cent idea (ie. buy as cheap as pos. and sell as high as pos.).

And, the worst bit --------- wait for it ------ you need patience.

Executive summary --------

have a shopping list of stocks you really want - and know a price that you will be happy with.

Then ------------ sorry --

wait.

And wait.

And, - you get the picture.

Let the bots bring the bacon to you - then, when it is at your price - or in a buy, then (a tad below) - THEN,

BUY --- don't squeeze the price -------- pay what you have to - put your bid in for OVER the sale price and the price you need to pick up what you want -- but, at or under your target price.
Don't try and squeeze that extra cent or 3 --

you will stuff the bots up - they can't handle that one.

End result - you get the stock that YOU want at YOUR price.

You have to wear the fact that the stock may drift (or be dragged) lower than your entry - but, you have to trust your research - this is investment - just grit your teeth and do it.

Guess who else does that?
