It that at the Rocklea markets site itself on Saturdays ?
With cash you know how much you have and how much you want to spend, and you never seem to want to spend the last 20, incase of an emergency.
How many people would survive if the got there weekly pay packet in cash like a lot on here did, that little brown envelope was always good on friday arvo.
Now if people went back to that and put all there weekly direct costs aside and they see how much they had left would be interesting and then only spend that surplus.
Credit card debt is way too high, but they keep giving and people keep taking and the more you spend the more money they want to give you and so the cycle of debt rises, which in time becomes unpayable to some.
It is just one vicious cycle and really it's just every man/woman/person for themselves, and will only be the best money managers standing sad to say.
