For instance CryptoCompare has a coin listed, for arguments sake, Litecoin at $54.00, Coinspot listed at $57.20 (around7%) and then when you buy they add an additional fee of 3%. Seems expensive!

Absolutely true!!! This will change soon when we will have more competition.. at the moment there is none in Australia providing this service..

I don't like that as well.. you can't trade with so huh fees make money only when coins rise at lease 20+ .% which might not happen soon..
