    "The British always had orders to engage with peace.". ...... that single word discredits the statement Benny. I can find an abundance of links to sources which record orders given to troopers. but even if your claim of "always" was correct, most of the massacres were committed by settlers. the poisonings of waterholes are legally tested and the slavery also proven in courts in WA and elsewhere.

    the misuse and oppression, corralling in missions and cattle or sheep stations as forced labour and the rape and murder are all well documented.

    there were Govt orders given. you only need to read some of the documents available.
