Ongoing problems with Gorgon CCUS. Over 7 million tonnes of co2 that was supposed to be burred has escaped into the atmosphere. Doesn't bode well for future CCUS projects getting funding.
The big risk for HXG is that they cannot get the CCUS working properly and the CO2 credits attached to their Blue Hydrogen disappear and they are left with a very expensive Grey Hydrogen project. If Chevron can';t get it right, I'd say it is rather difficult.
