driving conditions here are just so different to USA and Europe it would be deadly for many reasons. Of course the techie Boffins will push it to Gov but the reality is a car/vehicle with Autonomous Braking on Aussie dirt roads [also sealed ones] with the amount of HAZARDS we have such as Roos, Cattle, Sheep etc. Would you want a robotic emergency system slamming on the brakes at night or in the rain on dirt/sealed when a Roo crosses in front of you? What happens if you do that yourself? Most times loss of control !.
I hope this recommendation by the "experts" living in the big cities gets squashed.
If you cannot use/decide when to brake you should not be driving ever.
