Seems the USA is adopting the Japanese solution which gives time at the decadal cost of stagflation. Note that Japan's time may be running out now anyway as its bond rates going up too. Japan responding by liquidating its USA holdings and thus creating a vicious cycle causing bond rates to rise further.
The lesson is that sooner or later you have to pay the piper.
