Once again, those trying to live off miserable interest, are going to have that stolen off them again, funding others stupidity or negligence.
Basically, the ones that can't afford a house, will be No closer to it, will lower interest.
The other infuriating thing is, as you say, a 3 mill house, and yet they can still get a pension. The moment your property goes over say 5 acres, but still less than the 3 mill = no pension or any handout at all, but expected to pay tax, until you go in the ground.
So, the system is stacked, to encourage you to blow all your money as you go in life, then you can suck off the Gov
