I totally agree with you...but so what? property goes up and up and owner occupiers with a passive investment have far outperformed higher risk equities for over a decade. I wonder why I bother with shares sometimes.
What is the trigger for all this to unravel? I wonder if we'll ever see one. Australia is so hell bent on tying up wealth in bricks and mortar it stifles our innovation. But everyone is doing it, so you're going backwards if you're not on the bandwagon too.
