Some like to drive their car primarily using the rear view mirror.... I don't. Also I don't buy my shares that way either.

There is no perfect stock. Look at some miners who rise totally on gossip and spin. They are in many mulitiples of the recent SP. Is this perfect? I think not. Fundamentals are essential but you also must understand the dynamics of a particular stock, it's intended market and complications which may have occurred..

The X factor which involves potential, is not easily identified and this takes skill and judgement. It also takes skill and judgement to identify the reasons why a share has not performed in the past. It takes courage to buy or continue to hold a share when a negative narrative is being played out. You have to look deeper, and not react emotionally. I am always concerned when I see someone hanging around a share to denigrate it. Ask yourself why they would do that.
