I have two extended family members who would benefit from MC, one having chronic pain from prolapsed discs in lower back and failed surgery and the other trying to recover from chemo.

Neither have had positive responses on enquiries to their doctors and will both try to go through the SAS process.
The lack of knowledge amongst practitioners needs to be remedied to let people get treatment that will improve their quality of life. The doctors need to be briefed and taught about the benefits and side effects just as they would if it were say a new blood pressure pill.

This will take money and time but hopefully patients will be able to get these treatments just as any other medications sooner than later.
