Commonwealth govt has no debt (PC proudly says- may be govt. did nothing spent nothing; just collected tax income- ) but people of australia has plenty of debts (PC ignores). I think it should be other way around. Govt should implement measures to curtail peoples spending and invest for infrastructures and water and electricity usages. Its not only petrol prices but water and electricity is also inflationary. Giving tax cuts to poor is not inflationary but giving more to rich is inflationary. I do not see any measures in PC budget to that effect.
