''Dutton has lit a fire under the ALP''

mate - you have to be kidding

Duddo has lit a fire under his OWN house.

Labor - I agree, atm, won't really know which way to go ---------- why?

Because Duddo, if there are any brains at all in Ozzies - has just handed a second term to Labor on a plate

and it's the WAY he's done it that is of import.

Duddo, should he survive as leader going to the next election - has

    1. Opened up a big spending race
    2. Opened up Oz for big ideas

and for Labor ---- that's possibly opening a very very very very large door; why?

Because it's not often that you can go to the people of Australia in an election with BIG ideas - and get elected

Duddos plan - if he goes to the election is undoable --------and is a sitting duck to be shot down in flames.

Labor can - IF Duddo insists on taking his big idea to the election, also take some big ideas to the election - BUT, that are doable -

that's a golden opportunity - I cannot recall at any time in the past that has happened.

1972 is the closest - but, that wasn't a contest of big ideas by both mobs - that was one mob with big promises coming in after a long long long time when the electorate was sick of the existing mob and very sick of the Vietnamese war. -

    This time --------- it's different

Duddo has gifted Albanese with something that is so rare ------ it's difficult to find parallels

of course, Albo will have to manage it wisely - but, he's got a hell of a lot of room to move now - he's basically spoiled for choice

For anything that Albo comes out with as an election promise - Duddo cannot argue

    cost
    debt
    radical
    too big
    government ownership
    compulsory acquisition
    over riding states

Duddo has given Albo the mightiest xmas gift one ever gave a sitting PM - and it's only June
