The DWOP usually takes place after months of well design and planning in order to identify and notify all connected with the execution of any matters concerning them. It is usually done within weeks not months from mobilization in order to enable change management. I’m my experience to do it months from mobilization is not normal unless revised dwop is planned nearer the mobilization date. So two scenarios here, they are planning to mobilize the rig within a month or two at most or they relying on doing a revised dwop after that period. In my opinion to do this now and not drill till well in to November or December is not usual. I’m betting an announcement will come forthcoming that a rig mob date is imminent and will most likely be in October. Cheers.
