LOL! I prefer realistic hippy lol. I dont proclaim to have the answers and i assure you im far from perfect....For me at least Buddhas idea that religion and materialism leads to a dead end rings very true in this day and age. Though im sure DDZX is alot more well versed in Buddhism than i and will weigh in. Not that i intend to derail the thread in that way.
Despite this i think the logical approach would be to treat everyone the same despite race or religious beliefs. If someone has immigrated here and commits a crime, seeya later, you and your family are going home. If someone uses religion/beliefs to incite hatred, cause trouble etc Your deported or punished if a citizen. Yep and that includes inciting hatred under any kind patriotic banner.
Like i said im far from perfect and i realize the possible contradictions but the same 'us and them' mentality applies right across the legal/political etc board. Eliminating that all together could be the right direction to take.
