Again with the scemantics - it is about ensuring everyone pays tax and not making only some pay tax. The more you earn the more you will ultimately pay through what you do.

Yes this would have to be phased in over time and yes adjustments will need to be made to balance out things for people on lower incomes/govt benefits - but it is the fairest method of taxation and it removes the argument that people don't pay enough tax on incomes.
