No is is semantics as you just want to keep taxing the hell out of people. No we should NOT raise the gst to 15% unless other taxes are removed - though an even higher gst rate may be required.

I think what your original idea was trying to suggest was a transaction tax to replace all taxes not GST?
That's an idea that has been suggested for quite a while.
