Well if I happen to be "next", at law I have nothing to fear.
Certainly I may be stopped while perambulating or driving somewhere and searched and it would not bother me as I have nothing to hide.
Now if as a result of this I was detained I have rights at law which I can use if I have been detained without good reason.
The chances of this actually happening to me and those in similar circumstances to me is minimal to none.
It seems that only those with something to hide would get agitated about law enforcement being given extra powers at the momemet. Those and the civil liberties numpties who whinge about everything.
