    Just so you know, this is pretty much a meaningless sensationalist crap statistic. It compares 2015 to 2019.

    The apparent "Drop" is due entirely to the index being measured in USD. The drop in the value of the AUD during this period is reflected in this chart.

    $100,000 in AUD was worth $110,000 in USD at one point. Now that $100,000 in AUD is worth $65,000.

    Wealth has increased in AUD terms. In any event, even including this "Drop" we are still second in USD terms of wealth per Adult in the entire world.

    Not saying there is not a lot of issues that are validly raised in this thread. Just that this Credit Suisse report is, and always has been, rubbish designed to make headlines and advertise their modelling credentials.
