australian priced gold to soar?

    Gold priced in Australian Dollars about to soar?

    While I'm not overly optimistic about the price of Gold stocks over the next several months (at best I think they will track sideways for awhile, with general markets heading lower given end of QE2) I do think that the local price of Gold could be driven higher as the AUD drops against the USD...

    USD$1450 Gold with the AUD at 85c would give us a local price of over $1700.

    We're in for some interesting times the next few months!
