About time!
I agree with the suggestion that a carbon tax would be simpler and more transparent but I don't recall Exxon Mobil calling for it before an ETS/RET became inevitable. Have they stopped peddling that tired old line that CO2 is good for us... what was the slogan... "CO2, we call it life"...?
Or have they just changed their tune in the face of overwhelming opposition?
